Augustus (Tuck) Crocker
Managing Director, Provider
Augustus “Tuck” Crocker is a Managing Director in the Provider Consulting practice of Ingenix Consulting. Tuck has more than 25 years of experience in the health care IT services sector. He has held a broad set of responsibilities across technical, sales, product management, professional services, consulting and chief information officer roles within both the health care provider and payer markets.
Prior to joining Ingenix Consulting, Tuck served BearingPoint as a managing director for over four years. As managing director, he led its North American Healthcare Provider consulting business, which was a $100 million P&L management responsibility, and he ran both the provider and the payer practices.
Tuck’s responsibilities increased as he moved on to McKesson Corporation, where he led the growth of the Consulting Services division from $1 million in prior year sales to a $20 million annual sales run rate. He was promoted to run the organization’s Professional Services business, a $300 million consulting, implementation and outsourcing business.
Tuck also served as engagement and lead client service partner for Deloitte Consulting. In this role he worked with a variety of managed care companies, hospitals and physician group clients. In addition, Tuck worked for Ernst & Young as a senior manager in the firm’s health care practice, and was promoted to a partner. During his time as a partner he served primarily health care payer clients out of the firm’s San Francisco office.
Education
Tuck attended Hamilton College for three years, finishing his degree at Keene State College, where he graduated with a bachelor’s in biology and chemistry in 1980.
