Chris Brandt
Chief Financial Officer
Chris Brandt has been with Ingenix Consulting since 2005, serving as Chief Financial Officer since 2007. He manages the fiscal performance and results of multiple layers of management and senior-level professional staff.
Chris is currently responsible for the financial development and execution of functional and operational strategies and objectives. He manages operational risk issues and related performance impact projections. He partners with businesses around the organization, delivering profitable results in line with productivity gains and meeting overall business objectives. Chris drives financial programs that impact markets, customers and consumers, as well as staff function programs at the enterprise level.
Prior to joining Ingenix Consulting, Chris worked for UnitedHealth Group as the financial planning and analysis manager. His main responsibilities included conducting monthly financial and FTE reporting and analyses for UnitedHealth Group’s senior executives. He also conducted quarterly financial analyses in support of UnitedHealth Group’s earnings releases. He designed, developed and managed the implementation of an online planning application for the UnitedHealth Group corporate departments. He also drafted capital committee charters for UnitedHealth Group’s corporate departments, establishing a process for capital project reviews.
Before working at UnitedHealth Group, Chris worked for Augsburg Fortress, Publishers. While at Augsburg Fortress, Chris was the manager of planning, property, risk and financial analysis. In addition to facilities and risk management, he was responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis, as well as month-end reconciliation of inventory accounts.
Chris holds his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Valparaiso University. He received his masters of business administration, concentrating in finance, from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Chris has beginner-level knowledge of the Chinese and German languages.
