Anne McCune
Senior Vice President, Strategy & Governance
Anne McCune is a Senior Vice President and leader of Ingenix Consulting’s Strategy and Governance practice. She brings more than 27 years of management consulting and healthcare executive experience assisting leading academic medical centers, health plans, medical schools, children’s hospitals, health systems, and cancer centers address growth, efficiency and capital. Anne’s work is concentrated in the areas of strategic planning, financial and operational performance improvement, physician alignment, service line planning and business development. Her knowledge of emerging health care delivery models, coupled with her functional approach to project management and planning provides the required expertise to align organizations by repositioning strategy, management roles, governance, funds flow and culture.
Prior to joining Ingenix Consulting, Anne was a Founding Managing Director at Three-Sixty Advisory Group, LLC, where she served as an advisor to a broad range of healthcare leaders and boards. Examples of her recent work include: defining a new strategic direction and improving operational performance for a large community cancer center, designing a comprehensive ambulatory care strategy, strategic planning for business development and future facilities, valuing various investment opportunities for several leading investment banking firms; and preparing a financial and operating turnaround plan for a 35-physician medical group.
Anne’s previous experience also includes serving as senior vice president and chief operating officer for Children’s Hospital and Research Center Oakland (California) and City of Hope Cancer Center, Duarte, California. In those roles, she was responsible for providing executive oversight of the hospital and clinics, research organizations and joint ventures. She led comprehensive programs to enhance operational efficiency and developed a set of strategic initiatives, operating objectives, and monitoring techniques demonstrating institutional growth in quality, research, market share and financial outcomes.
Anne received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and cultural area studies with a minor in Spanish from the College of Wooster in Ohio. She holds her Juris Doctor from Loyola University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.
She has been a speaker at many national and international meetings, including International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare, American Practice Assembly, Medical Group Management Association, Health Financial Management Association and National Association of Healthcare Access Management.
