We recently released a study of the July 15th draft of The American Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 (also known as the tri-committee bill), which includes a public plan that would compete with private insurance for enrollment. We estimated that enrollment in the public plan under the July 15th draft would reach 103.4 million people compared with the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimate of 11 to 12 million people.
